of passport renewals.

I had my DFA appearance this afternoon for my passport renewal. It was scheduled quick; I just filed my application for renewal last Friday in a travel agency in Festival Mall. I thought I'd be having my appearance around next week, coz they said that they'll have it processed this week.

Anyway, good thing I was able to make it to my appearance. I was first scheduled at 1pm, but then I told the agent that I still have class that time and it would end at 2:30. Good thing she said I can still go later than 1pm, as long as I arrive before 4pm. So I did.

When I got there, I still saw a lot of people, but no more long lines and all, because the cut-off will be in an hour or so. So yeah, I waited for the agent and then proceeded when I was with her. When we got inside, there were no more lines where I would have my form checked and signed. The main reminder the agent kept on telling me was to check the numbers 1 to 6 details, because those are the most important parts: full name, gender, birthplace, birthday. So yeah, when I got my form, I really checked those items. They were correct naman, so I thought all's well.

Not until the agent checked the forms and saw that my photo wasn't approved. It was rejected for some reason. So the agent asked the girl in the window, who has earphones on her ears during work (imagine that!), if that would do already. The girl said it would be up to us, but I told the agent not to risk it na lang so I would not hassle myslef to go back to DFA. I agreed to have a new photo taken.

I was accompanied to a rush photo studio there, and then had my photo taken. When I was done, I was told to pay already. When I asked how much, they replied that it's P150. A hundred and fifty! I was surprised, coz it's too expensive, to think that they weren't even a Kodak or known ID photo center! I was surprised too, coz I know in myself that I didn't bring money and I'm not sure if the one I had with me would amount to P150. So I checked my bills and coins, and thank God, they were exactly P150. So yeah, I was able to pay the passport pictures, but I was left bankrupt. Total bankrupt. But oh well, I was able to finish the whole thing I was supposed to do there and didn't stay for too long anymore. ;)

Good thing Mash went there too. If not, I would not have any way going home. But wait, the story doesn't end there. Since Mash didn't eat lunch yet, we decided to go to Mall of Asia so he would have choices to eat from. So yeah, we found stall at the food court to buy food from. When we were paying already, our food cost almost P300. Eh, that was all the hundreds he had. So yeah, no choice but to pay for the food. nyahahaha. We called Tita Miel to tell her we're stranded, then she said we call a cab na lang then go to her. After sometime, Mash realized he still had some coins. When he added the money, he still have around P60. So, we still can commute going home! Thank God, we didn't become stranded poor brats at Mall of Asia. nyahahahaha. So yeah, we had adventure, we can now figure out how to go home when no bills left! nyahahahahaha. :))
